A very productive meeting was held recently with some of Zion Ponderosa's staff to discuss homeowner concerns about the use of trails within the development and to propose creating new trails off the ridge for use by the ranch. Zion Ponderosa also expressed their concern about the use of the trails and high speed driving/riding on the roads by guests of homeowners who do not rent through the resort.
As a result of this meeting, Zion Ponderosa agreed to the following, and asked that the HOA create some language that homeowners who do not rent through them could send out to their renters about road and trail safety:
Zion Ponderosa agreed to:
1. Create new signs for the walking/bike path.
2. Produce a trail map of suggested places renters could ride that are not on the ridge.
3. Create new language in their rental agreement about the proper use of the trails.
4. No longer rent out ATV's to renters and offer guided rides only.
5. Close Jolly Gulch from the road and block access to the trail from the development with very large boulders.
6. Evaluate, and get back to the HOA about the proposed new trails.
