The path that runs between the development and the resort, previously known as the Golf Cart Path has now been designated a path for walking and non-motorized vehicles only. Due to the number of injury accidents that have occurred in years past to both drivers and passengers using ATVs and other motorized vehicles on the path, boulders have been installed at both ends to bar the use of such vehicles, and to insure the safety of all who wish to travel by bicycle or on foot between the development and resort. Work has recently been completed to fill in the ground alongside the path where erosion of the soil created a gully that people could easily fall into, and additional large boulders are being added as blocks to motor vehicle traffic. Signage will be created to alert homeowners and visitors of the appropriate use of this path.
