Annual Board Meeting Follow Up 2018

Hi Everyone,

It was great to see those of you who were able to attend our annual meeting earlier this month! We had a pretty good turn out and received positive feedback on our efforts so far to keep homeowners informed about the Board's activities, as well as other topics of interest related to their property here at Zion Ridge via our website: www.zionhoa.com and occasional emails through Constant Contact.

It is the intention of the HOA Board that the website be the primary source of information for homeowners about activities here at Zion Ridge. However, as this is the first year that the HOA has had a website, it was brought to our attention that all homeowners may not have remembered the annual meeting because they are not yet in the habit of checking the website regularly. Some of those present stated that more homeowners might have come if they had been sent reminder notices via email, as had been done in the past. It was therefore decided that going forward, anything that is "actionable" (inviting a response from the homeowner) or time-sensitive will be sent out in an email, in addition to being posted on the website.

One of the highlights of the meeting was the introduction to, and presentation by, our new fire chief Brad Freeman. Board Member Larry Sanders also mentioned a video he had entitled "Your Home Can Survive a Wildfire" which has since been posted on our website. We highly recommend that you take the time to go to the website's blog page and view this video, as it has some very valuable and timely information about what you can do now to protect your home from wildfires.
